We are available Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm (CST). Weekends are for family, outings, slow dinners and wine.
During your project we will primarily use email through HoneyBook to communicate. This helps us keep everything organized and in one place. We do schedule occasional calls as needed but find the email method works the best throughout the process. We’re also available via text for quick answers and updates.
All payments are graciously accepted via Credit Card, Check, Venmo or Bank Transfer.
50% of the total projected project fee is required as a deposit to secure your project booking. Deposits are non-refundable. This is our way of securing your spot in the queue. We book projects several months ahead of time, and scheduling ensures that we give you the proper amount of time that your project deserves.
50% of the remaining balance is due before the project launches/final files are sent OR on agreed upon deadline of project as stated in signed contract.
100% of additional costs (fonts, images, licenses, and anything we’ve added to the project) are due before project launch/final files sent.
Due to the nature of design work, refunds are not issued. If the design process has already begun, you are required to pay for all work that has been completed up to the termination point, at an hourly rate of $75 per hour. These terms are non-negotiable.
You will be granted two (2) rounds of reasonable revisions during each stage of the design process.
Although it’s rare, additional revisions are billed at $75 per hour after the first two (2) should you need more. Post-launch edits and updates are billed at $75 per hour. Feel free to reach out to receive a quote.
Upon completion, any design files will be delivered to you in three formats (svg vector, png and jpeg) in the exact specification, layout and color combination you approved.
File variations (additional color combinations, layouts, shapes, etc.) are available for an additional fee.
Many factors determine the timeline for a project (complexity of design, revisions, etc.) Most projects average 4-6 weeks once we begin the process, however, each project is unique. You will receive an estimated timeline when you request a quote.
When working with The Meraki Impact, your investment will look like this:
– Our Design Fee
– Domain Name (typically $10-$20 annually)
– Yearly website hosting (first year is included)
Should you need to pause the design process for any reason, or become unresponsive, the project will be put on hold. You will be added to the next available queue spot once you are ready to resume working together. Should you make edits to The Meraki Impact template during this period, additional fees will be required to restore the work created prior to the project’s pause. Additional fees may also be applicable to projects changing direction after pausing.
Projects paused for 90 days from the last day of communication by the client will require a $150 re-start fee. Clients that have not responded by one calendar year forfeit all payments and the right to any design work completed.
The Meraki Impact is not liable for any photos, page copy and design elements provided by clients. You are required to have permission before submitting any page copy, design elements or photography to use on your site and accept full responsibility for any misuse or copyright infringement.
We will need access to your domain provider (if you have one) and other supporting accounts via login info during the design process. We will not share or sell your information under any circumstances.
The Meraki Impact is responsible for the overall template and page design of the site. You agree to provide The Meraki Impact with all page copy and images, which will be designed for your template.
The Meraki Impact will not be held responsible for unsatisfactory printing results and does not issue refunds.
All designs are property of The Meraki Impact. However, you as the client may use the design files provided to you as you wish with no credit back to The Meraki Impact. A link to The Meraki Impact will be placed at the bottom of your website to credit me as the designer. This must remain as long as you have any elements designed or developed by me applied.
By submitting an order and completing your deposit, you—the client—are acknowledging that you have read, understand and agree to any and all design terms.
